This class was developed with a number of target audiences in mind:

It was conceived as a deep-five, three-part exploration of the reception of the Shofar from Biblical through modern periods.

It is also delivered as a 2-hour Adult Study class, with students spending time studying and discussing texts addressing the Shofar. Tuition included a shofar! We spent time learning and practicing the sounds traditionally commanded on High Holy Days.

It has been delivered as a 60-minute version, for Sunday-School audiences.
