Shalom!
I am Rabbi Edie Yakutis and so happy you are here!
I am a recently ordained Rabbi, based in Cincinnati, Ohio. I serve part-time as
Rabbi of Temple Beth El in Muncie, IN, as well as
Chaplain, at Linder Center of Hope, behavioral health hospital in Mason, OH.
I enjoy officiating at lifecycle events as well!
Please browse through my work so far, and if you have lifecycle need, or a project in mind, let’s connect.
More of my story is below.
I am a life-long learner who thrives in connecting with individuals.
I was ordained in 2023 at Hebrew-Union College-JIR in Cincinnati. I became a seminary student after 23 years at Microsoft Corporation, where I honed my skills through a variety of team and leadership positions, as well as project management.
Before moving to Cincinnati and applying to HUC-JIR, my husband and I were one of the 12 founding families of Temple Solel, in Fort Mill, SC, where I served as lay leader, and put my feet on the path of becoming a rabbi.
When I am not at my pulpit, performing lifecycle events, teaching or serving as a chaplain, you can find me studying, at the symphony, or doing something outside - kayaking, hiking, road cycling or walking one of my family’s many dogs!
